Permaculture Design Certification Course

August 18-30, 2011

Location: Victoria, VA

Participants will learn natural design systems and how to use design tools in problem solving on multiple levels.

This is a comprehensive Design Certification Course, from the 3 day intro to the full 72 hour certification course. We cover the core topics of Permaculture and Regenerative Design, emphasizing temperate climate design applications. Design of this woodlands site will include building demonstration gardens, and designing terracing pools, a food forest and botanical sanctuaries.Those who complete all 72 hours and individual project assignments will receive an internationally recognized Permaculture Design Certificate.

Small-acreage residents and rural landowners who want to conserve energy and improve growing productivity on their land,; urban and suburban residents who want to learn how to create productive natural systems in small spaces; design and planning professionals, landscape and building contractors who want to integrate sustainable design principles into their practice; community members who want to strengthen sustainable networks; and anyone who wants their home site to be part of restoring balance to the earth.
