NCSC,, the North Country Sustainability Center has received recognition as a registered non-profit
organization. Though we haven't finished all the paperwork, we wanted to announce our existence
to the NE Food system folks.
NCSC is an economic development program that will empower the residents of North Central MA and
the southwestern parts of NH to grow their own food, their own businesses, and celebrate the culture
of rural New England.
Our plans include a commercial kitchen, micro-creamery (up to 22 gallons), a smokehouse,
a wood fired oven, and winter farmer's market, and retail store. In addition we'll offer community
gardens, acoustic concerts, demonstrations and classes in traditional arts and skills, as well as
exhibit space for visual artists.
Our indoor riding arena will allow us to host a massive contra dance, or a folk concert or
storytelling festival. We can offer dog lovers a place to train their animals, or exhibit them at shows,
or 4H shows and other agricultural expositions.
But we need to buy this land, and secure the facilities so we can start growing the local economy.

Join us in our plans and take advantage of our services once we get started. Thanks.
