A Cool Community Garden on Martha's Vineyard

I had a chance to visit a spectacular community garden up in West Tisbury last week. Truthfully, all I really wanted to do was lie down in the middle of this thing--it was that peaceful. But I was there to write a blog and to talk to Lynn Weber, the Dirt Lady. So I stayed upright, took some photos, did my job. And now I have a secret dirt recipe--a magical mix of mulch, manure, and seaweed--to conjure up when I get back to gardening. By the way the garden's up at Island Cohousing, a thoughtfully designed community of 16 houses that surround a commons area. Cars live on the perimeter, folks gather in a friendly commonhouse, and the rest of the place is open space galore...heavenly. Here's a link to the post, my regular Monday spot on Finecooking.com I'll post some photos, too
