What if "Out of the Box" Is Just Finding What Fell Through the Cracks?

It’s so frustrating to see so many stories about people feeling hopeless, homes being lost, and buildings being vandalized.  The media, the people, and even the government calling for ways to make things better, and yet we sit. Here we have an idea that can light a candle for many people, locally and nationally, but it’s not “out of the box enough,” and too small scale for others to consider.

New Home, Next Step

North Country Sustainability Center, Inc. just agreed to lease a retired elementary school in Ashburnham, MA as our temporary home base. This will allow us to start offering programs, make local food and art pieces available for sale, and build the long term goal of creating a very exciting project.

Incorporation for North Country Sustainability Center

NCSC,, the North Country Sustainability Center has received recognition as a registered non-profit

organization. Though we haven't finished all the paperwork, we wanted to announce our existence

to the NE Food system folks.



NCSC is an economic development program that will empower the residents of North Central MA and

the southwestern parts of NH to grow their own food, their own businesses, and celebrate the culture

of rural New England.
