I've become more interested in local food systems as a key element in building sustainable local economies. I completed my Sustainable MBA at the Bainbridge Graduate Institute (http://www.bgiedu.org) in June, basing my team's entrepreneurship project on Boston's Green City Growers.I am currently exploring opportunities to leverage my sustainable business education along with my considerable sales and marketing experience. I am interested in working with innovative and collaborative businesses dedicated to maintaining and building economic, environmental, and social value in local and regional economies. Organizations focused on the regional food economy, those seeking to wring efficiency from existing infrastructure, and re-purpose waste products as industrial and agricultural inputs are of special interest to me.

The energy flows associated with food production and that building resilient local food infrastructure is a key part of a sustainable future.

Generational Stewardship: Debt

I thought some of the folks here might like this post from my blog...it's something

I remembered from the "It Takes a Region" event last fall.

I blurted out the "generational stewardship" phrase at the It Takes a Region conference organized by the Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Working Group (NESAWG) that took place back in the fall of 2009. I was in a working session…

Reflections on TEDxCambridge 2010 "How do you eat?"

I attended the TEDxCambridge event "How do you eat?" over the weekend. I thougght my observatoins would be of interest to the NEFOOD crew.

"I've been stewing on TEDxCambridge for about 24 hours so I figured it's time to put into writing what's been swirling around my head all day. I applied to attend because the topic was of interest to me, "How do you eat?" and I was curious about the whole…
