North Country Sustainability Center, Inc. just agreed to lease a retired elementary school in Ashburnham, MA as our temporary home base. NCSC,, the North Country Sustainability Center has received recognition as a registered non-profit

organization. Though we haven't finished all the paperwork, we wanted to announce our existence

to the NE Food system folks.



NCSC is an economic development program that will empower the residents of North Central MA and

the southwestern parts of NH to grow their own food, their own businesses, and celebrate the culture

of rural New England.

Central MA residents are working developing a new sustainability center. Farmers market, exposition space, commercial kitchen, creamery, arts center, lots more.
