People,
Have you heard about this new program?
From their web site:
The vision for FoodCorps is to recruit young adults for a yearlong term of public service in school food systems. Once stationed, FoodCorps members will build Farm to School supply chains, expand food system and nutrition education programs, and build and tend school food gardens.

Hello NESAWG friends,
If you have a a spare moment, please take a look at this new UMass Library guide for Small Farm Business.
Let me know where you see areas needing improvement. Or perhaps recommend a website.
I know you're super busy so just a quick glance will do.

Thanks so much in…

Hi Madeline,
Thanks so much for the invitation to join NESAWG. To answer your question about what Mass Craft is, they are formally called Eastern Massachusetts CRAFT (Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training). I'm not a very active member, but am a subscriber to their always bustling email list. You can sign up for this email list here--lots of postings from MA farmers and conservationists--everything from job and event listings to information on blight and specific crop questions to info on how to put up a hoop house. Very active group here in Mass.
I'll investigate the PVGrows event that you recommended. Sounds great! Thanks again!
Cheers,
Catherine
