Was original co-founder of Northeast Food System, Nesawg, and Community Food Security Coalition. Also started New Entry Sustainable Farming Project (immigrant farming), and remain an active organizer of local and regional food systems initiatives; I teach a food systems grad course at Tufts University - Agriculture, Food and Environment program, which also hosts Nefood and Comfood.

Food & Water Watch created this interactive map to illustrate something that people in rural America have known for a long time: factory farms farms have grown in number, and these facilities are over- whelming some regions of the country, including parts of our region.
