What aspect of food and agriculture are you most passionate about?

I am a Hands-on agronomist working with family farms throughout the Northeast and Middle Atlantic area. My passion has diversity. I speak farming and I enjoy the many aspects of working with, learning from and educating farmers; from preparing the soil for placing the seed into the ground to understanding diverse cropping systems to feeding the crops to livestock and also putting delicious locally produced food and food products into my own belly for nourishment. I enjoy the fellowship within the agricultural community and with others involved with research and outreach to move sustainable systems forward.
