Thanks for reading my book and letting me know what you think. Yes, I do have an anti-establishment view. I am very interested in changing the way the world works, starting with the sustainable agriculture movement toward community-based food systems. I see suit culture as the main obstacle to that. When I say suit culture, I mean corporate culture. I hope you are well and enjoying the season.
Hi Billie;
I finally was able to sit down last night and finish reading your book.
The negative is I found that it was bit toward the anti-establishment view. Maybe, instead of useing the word "suit" you could use the word pre-organic?
The positve, I hope that most people that read this would find it to be an excellent reason to stop useing chemical laden foods. Growing in a "small farm" system, is the only way, to be profitable. I believe.
At most a few acres can yield enough to be profitable and managable for two people.
Hi;
I read a few pages of your book ( I will have to read the remainder tonight) but, your comments and ideals open a stream of conversations. I too and in the process of going from "suit" to farmer ( a life long ideal for myself). I could go on for ever here but, will say for now, best of luck, it can be done!
Marketing as well as a good support system are key. Too bad your are so far from me, though the internet helps. Keep on the hard work, a little blessing and an open mind.....Jeff
