- Community Harvest Project (CHP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing and donating highly nutritious food for hunger relief. CHP achieves this goal by bringing together thousands of volunteers - individuals, families, corporations, school, church and civic groups - to nurture, cultivate, and harvest tens of thousands of pounds of fresh fruits and produce – all for donation to local hunger relief efforts.
CHP farms also serve as a hands-on learning environment for our volunteers to gain an immense appreciation for agriculture, the critical nature of access and availability of food for all, and the value of community service.
