I'm working with the Center for a Livable Future (at Johns Hopkins) on a Food System Mapping Tool of Maryland using GIS technology. This tool will hopefully be used for improving the local food system, help shape agriculture policy, and create or illuminate opportunities for local farmers. I'm also the Communications Manager for Future Harvest -Chesapeake Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture, a membership organization providing educational and networking opportunities for farmers in MD, VA, DE, and WV.
