Hi All,

Here's a link to the PowerPoint presentation I gave at the recent NESAWG conference, outlining our Northeast Food Knowledge Ecosystem initiative: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/85486411/JP_NEFKE_NESAWG_compressed.ppt.

It describes some of the larger vision for the project, helping folks in the Northeast directly engaged in, supporting or researching food systems work to connect with each other and the resources they need to be innovative and successful. It also provides some info about our initial John Merck Fund supported pilot project focusing on Farm to Institution. Comments, questions or suggestions welcomed (I've started a discussion thread on the R&A WG space here)  -we hope this is only the beginning of some exciting collaborative work ahead!

Cheers, Jeff

I've recently added some new content to the Community and Regional Development page of my Local & Regional Food Systems Guide, including sections on

Any feedback or contributions to this or other parts of the guide welcomed.

I'd like to add a more detailed section on Indicators and Metrics, and would be especially interested in comments from this group and those you know relating to your needs and experiences. If you'd like to contribute to that conversation, feel free to add your voice to the discussion thread on the Data & Information group.
