Position open at LACE (Local Ag Community Exchange) in Barre, VT

The Local Agricultural Community Exchange (LACE) in Barre is hiring a Business Manager, a new position at a quickly growing non-profit. Starting at 24 hrs/wk, expected to be full time (32+ hrs) with benefits after one year. LACE is a non-profit dedicated to bringing the community together with its local farms and food sources. Its mission is embodied by the Farm Fresh Market and Café providing seasonal local foods, a commercial kitchen incubator program and other onsite microbusiness development programs. Responsibilities include program administration, policy development, grant writing and reporting, and assisting with event coordination. May include HR, and supervising staff and volunteers, as the organization grows. Looking for strong administrative skills, experience with grant writing, great people skills and an ability to take initiative. Starting pay $21,600 for 24 hrs/wk.
