In a presentation at the Portsmouth Public Library, Eric Sideman, the Organic Crop Specialist for MOFGA (Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association), will cover some of the challenges common to growing vegetables. This event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 25th, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Topics covered will include insects and diseases, organic methods of prevention and management, and a special focus on identifying and preventing Late Blight.
This event is free and open to the public, and is being offered in collaboration between MOFGA, Seacoast Eat Local, and Seacoast Community Garden Network.
