Event Description
Carbon-negative strategy to remove carbon from the air by converting biomass to soil enhancements. We’ll make biochar from applewood & farm biomass with rocket stove & 2-barrel retort, add biochar Saratoga Apple soils to grow nutrient-dense, carbon-negative food, demonstrate small & medium scale char-making equipment, teach how to make & use biochar at home. Be ready to get dirty working with soil, compost & charcoal.
